THE WORST RICE COOKER EVER!!!!
I have been an Amazon.com customer for many years now but I've never returned any item that I purchased from Amazon.com before! But I had to return this rice cooker because it was the worst rice cooker I've ever got! The rice burns on the bottom when it cooks the rice BUT after the rice is cooked, it keeps the rice LUKEWARM so the rice spoils in just a few hours with such a terrible odor!!! I didn't want my family to get sick by eating the spoiled rice from that rice cooker!!! Besides, only the inner pot was made with stainless steel - NOT the inner lid. The inner lid was made with very thin aluminum.
However, I am very pleased with the customer service of Amazon.com! They promptly processed my return & refund!! Therefore, I will continue to shop at Amazon.com in the future.
Easy and much healthier
Simple and great stainless steel cooker. The steel insert is easy to clean with a quick soak. Just fill insert with water and set aside for a short time. It will clean effortlessly. I thought I would have to buy a $100 plus cooker to really get what I wanted, but not true for this one. Took the chance, and happy I did. It is very simple and straight forward. I have cooked a variety of rice, white, brown and even forbidden black rice. All came out perfect. :)
