Black & Decker PowerTHROW is more like it.
I received this as a gift. After about a month of owning it, I decided to try it for the first time. I was going to make whipped mashed potatoes. Thats a basic enough dish that we can all remember our grandmothers making in the kitchen. Its total comfort food. Im so excited! So I have the cooked steamy potatoes in the bowl and the warm milk and pats of fresh butter...I pick up my new hand mixer and turn it to setting #1. In doing so, I realize that this device has the horsepower of a small out board motor and i watch in slow motion as my entire kitchen is splattered with pieces of potato. It was no more than seconds before I turned it off and in that small time, i am not exaggerating in saying that every square inch of my kitchen ; walls floor and ceiling ; was covered in potato. Now thanks to this product every time I think back to my grandmother whipping potatoes in her kitchen It will be shadowed by remembering the day and a half I spent cleaning them up.
