Good popper, not great.
I bought this very last minute, wanting a popcorn machine for the house before my son's birthday. I wanted a few other models first, but this was the only one available with Amazon Prime at the time. My specifications were black and an 8 oz kettle.
First, the shipment was way fast and the popper was boxed and shipped very carefully. I paid the $3.99 extra to have it shipped overnight (I still don't know how Amazon can afford to do that on such a large item). And it did arrive 1 day late, but still on time for the party.
Secondly, the kettle is not as advertised, an 8 oz kettle. More like a 6 oz kettle. I have a professional popcorn machine at work that I checked the size of it's kettle, and that's why I ordered an 8 oz to match it. The size of the kettle of this one that I purchased is much smaller than the other one we use at work. So that's why I guessed 6 oz. Easy to put together---very nice looking!
Came in a HUGE box--in perfect condition. Easy to assemble and so fun to look at. Looks so perfect in our brand new theater room! Don't get the little tiny ones, this is the perfect size. Makes yummy popcorn (or so my husband and kids say) everytime!
Love the popcorn maker but the delivery......
The popcorn maker was delivered quickly but the box that it came in looked like it had been in that old luggage commerical with the monkey. While the maker works well, it has several dents in it. It was a birthday gift so there was no time to return it.
