Frigidaire FD3152 Stainless Steel Sandwich and Waffle Maker, 220 to 240-volt
It's okay and does the job
I have read other product reviews on this combination sandwich and waffle maker. Frankly, prior to buying it, I don't remember a favorable review. However, having subsisted essentially on rice based dishes as the primary staple for nearly two years prepared by other nationalities for the non-western diet, I decided to order anyway in spite of the negative comments that I had read.
I followed the directions that came with the waffle iron and used Golden Malted Pancake & Flour mix ordered from Amazon as well. The waffles turned out perfect and combined with the bottle of Maple syrup I have been saving for the occasion - thoroughly enjoyed the waffles. Life was good! Function: While I did not time it -- it took about ten minutes for the unit to reach cooking temperature. When I first turned it on, the unit produced the new wiring smell as it heated up and it lasted during the length of operation. I have had only one opportunity to use it so far; therefore, cannot say if these fumes...
