Culinair AB351W 10-Speed Blender, 400-Watt, 50-Ounce Capacity, White

Not a good blender
The blender is okay except that it has severe issues with leaking. It worked just fine the first time but the three or four times after that, when we used it, the blender began leaking from the bottom. It made a huge mess of orange julius all over our counter. And it leaked in a way that risked damaging the wiring and electrical stuff on the inside.

Don't buy!
I've had this for awhile still in the box as we were away and I needed to get home and organize my counter to make a place for it. Finally I took it out of the box yesterday, July 30th, checked the directions to make sure everthing was where it should be and was on tightly. I poured in some liquid and some fruit, not even any ice and attempted starting it. I pressed one button and nothing happened, I pressed a second button and nothing happened and continue until one started the blade spining. As soon as it started spining and the liquid started going into the bottom area, so I stopped it, and lifted the entire top off. At this point every bit of liquid came pouring out all over my counter, down onto the floor. I was so angry as I had taken down two cake mixes I wanted to make and the bottom of those were soaked. I've got a feeling the manufacturer called it a Culinair so people would think it was another product with a similiar name. This one is going back for sure. Oh, even...

Excellent Function
I've only used this blender a few times but, so far, it exceeds my expectations. Everything works as it should and it is fairly easy to disassemble and clean. It IS mostly plastic except for the blades, but it came at a good price. I question whether the blades will last forever but it will take significant use (I hope) to find out if they dull.
