Oster Blender Review
I was a little skeptical when the package arrived. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. But you can't judge a book by it's cover. The packaging, though tattered and aged, held inside a gorgeous, sleek looking Oster that I knew would look fabulous on her counter. Love the stainless steel! The glass jar was sparkling!
The Oster 6812 makes the best milk shakes, malts, margaritas, all frozen drinks turn out high quality. The ice crushes up nicely and it actually is pretty quiet while it operates.
It is a great product! Yes, would buy again.
Dirty and not operating properly
It appeared to have the correct parts but the asterisk style connector did not connect to the square pin and would not spin the blade. Fortunately I am able to return this item...unfortunately at my cost. :-(
What ever happened to Oster quality?
I bought this blender to replace one for my brother. And when it works, it works pretty well. But in six months the base ring has cracked, and just today I had to disassemble it to re-attach the cooling fan to the motor spindle.
So, if you want a blender with a glass jar that requires monthly maintenance, then I definitely recommend the Oster 6812.
